John Casterline Sandan Menjo
John Casterline, received the rank of Shodan in 1966 in Go Shin Jitsu while serving in the USAF. As an Air Police John had the opportunity to train in variety of other martial art systems. After returning to the USA John met Shogo Kuniba’s IKKU and received the rank Sandan in 1974. And later became a member of the NKJU and received the rank Rokudan prior to Richard P. Baillargeon. passing on Feb. 1989. John is now a member of NKJU and NKJUI and representative for the State of New York and a Dan board member under the leadership of Kaicho Roy D. Davis III. John has been in the martial arts for over sixty years and still actively trains and teaches. Unlike so many organizational leaders that are overweight out of shape. NKJU leaders train and carry on the values of the martial arts.
